The Board of Smartsign is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Arrias as the new Chief Executive Officer of Smartsign AB with effect from January 1, 2022.
Dan Arrias will take over after Maria Dahlström who has been successfully leading the company over the last 4 years. Dan comes previously from the position as Channel Sales Director at Humly, and has an extensive experience from International Sales, Business Development and Channel Management.
In recent years, the SaaS-company Smartsign has had a tremendous development and has delivered record sales year after year. The growth is big in Europe and Australia, especially within the area of Corporate Communication

We want to infuse new energy, experience and competence by recruiting Dan Arrias as CEO, says the owner of the company Johan Peters. Dan has worked for Smartsign before and knows the products as well as the market. His sales focus is strong which aligns perfectly with this phase of the company’s development within the SaaS business.

Smartsign has a turnover of ~4 million EUR, with over 4000 B2B customers in more than 30 countries using their software for digital signage. The target is to more than double the sales and given the extensive growth plans, the company will need to make recruitments in both sales, marketing, customer success and R&D.
